Kristi Jacobson

Board President

Kristi became involved with P.E.A.S.E. Academy through her child’s journey as a student, where she witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of its knowledgeable and experienced team.  Kristi believes in their approach of empowering students’ academic and personal growth with loving support and accountability.  She is deeply passionate about helping other families navigate the challenges of their child’s recovery and is committed to connecting others with the resources and community that P.E.A.S.E. provides.

Kristi has worked in financial services her entire career, including Retirement Services and Trust as well as Commercial Banking.  She loves serving her clients as a Relationship Officer and Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at Tradition Capital Bank.

Erin Lavery

Board Vice President

Dr. Erin Lavery is a licensed special education teacher and has been working as a Special Education director since 2007. She is currently the Executive Director of INDIGO Education, a nonprofit that serves charter schools across the state of Minnesota.
Erin has a passion for people and works to expand upon her devotion to the pursuit of civil rights for all people. By way of educational advocacy, Erin’s interests lie in school culture, staff development, and dispute resolution.
Erin is committed to supporting the Minnesota Transitions Charter School, PEASE Academy, and the recovery community, both personally and professionally.
Beth Ulrich

Beth Ulrich

Board Secretary

Through her own family’s experiences with teenage addiction, Beth has developed a personal passion for developing better resources and solutions for teens and their families.

Beth’s work and career experience include success in multiple industries including marketing consulting, entrepreneurialism, sales, non-profits and real estate. She is currently an independent real estate agent and certified relocation specialist with Sotheby’s International where she specializes in the luxury condo and upper bracket home market in Wayzata and the surrounding communities.

Beth volunteers for numerous organizations and has served on multiple boards including Gleason Lake PTA, TwinWest Chamber, Wayzata Area Chamber, Sherburne State Bank and P.E.A.S.E. Foundation. Beth also co-founded a non-profit called The Caring Effect where she hosted a radio show to bring awareness to the needs of others and then gave the listeners the tools to make a difference.

Beth and her husband, Eddie, have been married for over 23 years and live in Southwest Plymouth with their four daughters ranging in age from 13 to 23.

Robert Muller

Board Treasurer

Robert was a 2008 graduate of P.E.A.S.E. Academy. He then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Hamline University in Criminal Justice and Psychology. After graduation, Robert began a career working at a residential treatment center for adolescents suffering from substance abuse and mental health disorders. He continued to support P.E.A.S.E Academy after his graduation by referring clients, volunteering, speaking, and now serving on the board.

Robert’s service didn’t stop there, he joined the United States Army Reserve in 2013 as a Behavioral Health Specialist in which he deployed to Kuwait and Afghanistan in 2019. Robert is currently the IT Infrastructure Operations Manager for North Memorial Health. Robert’s professional experience includes IT management, network operations, IT security operations, project management, facilities management, marketing, and business operations.

Kevin Hiniker

Board Member

Kevin’s daughter is a graduate of P.E.A.S.E. Academy. Given the support that was provided to her and to the rest of their family, he wants to ensure that the P.E.A.S.E. community can be strengthened and sustained for the continued benefit of other adolescents and their families going forward.

Sam Woolery

Sam Woolery

Board Member

Sam Woolery relocated to Minnesota from his home state of Missouri in 2007. He was introduced to P.E.A.S.E. Academy in 2010 through his experience managing a network of supportive sober living programs in Saint Paul, MN. He has since been proud to watch a number of participants from that program graduate from P.E.A.S.E. Academy. Sam currently works as the Recovery Residence Resource Director at NUWAY.
