Kevin Hiniker

Board President

Kevin’s daughter is a graduate of P.E.A.S.E. Academy. Given the support that was provided to her and to the rest of their family, he wants to ensure that the P.E.A.S.E. community can be strengthened and sustained for the continued benefit of other adolescents and their families going forward.

Jenny Westlund

Board Secretary

Jenny currently has a son attending P.E.A.S.E. Academy as a senior. Through their family’s journey with substance use disorder and the support they all found at P.E.A.S.E Academy, she joined the board to find ways to further support P.E.A.S.E. through the Community Foundation.
Jenny is passionate about being a part of expanding recovery support to adolescents and their families!

Robert Muller

Board Treasurer

Robert was a 2008 graduate of P.E.A.S.E. Academy. He then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Hamline University in Criminal Justice and Psychology. After graduation, Robert began a career working at a residential treatment center for adolescents suffering from substance abuse and mental health disorders. He continued to support P.E.A.S.E Academy after his graduation by referring clients, volunteering, speaking, and now serving on the board. Robert’s service didn’t stop there, he joined the United States Army Reserve in 2013 as a Behavioral Health Specialist in which he deployed to Kuwait and Afghanistan in 2019. Robert is currently the IT Infrastructure Operations Manager for North Memorial Health. Robert’s professional experience includes IT management, network operations, IT security operations, project management, facilities management, marketing, and business operations.

Beth Ulrich

Beth Ulrich

Board Member

Through her own family’s experiences with teenage addiction, Beth has developed a personal passion for developing better resources and solutions for teens and their families.

Beth’s work and career experience include success in multiple industries including marketing consulting, entrepreneurialism, sales, non-profits and real estate. She is currently an independent real estate agent and certified relocation specialist with Sotheby’s International where she specializes in the luxury condo and upper bracket home market in Wayzata and the surrounding communities.

Beth volunteers for numerous organizations and has served on multiple boards including Gleason Lake PTA, TwinWest Chamber, Wayzata Area Chamber, Sherburne State Bank and P.E.A.S.E. Foundation. Beth also co-founded a non-profit called The Caring Effect where she hosted a radio show to bring awareness to the needs of others and then gave the listeners the tools to make a difference.

Beth and her husband, Eddie, have been married for over 23 years and live in Southwest Plymouth with their four daughters ranging in age from 13 to 23.

Renee Perschin

Board Member

Making a difference in the world is a personal signature of Renee’s and serving on the P.E.A.S.E. Community Foundation is a meaningful way to ensure recovery resources are available to emerging adults and families.

Maggie Hiniker

Board Member

Maggie has been a part of the P.E.A.S.E. community since 2017. Now working as an occupational therapist, she has a strong passion for health equity and advocacy for increased access to quality recovery resources for adolescents and their families.

Gabe Stumme

Board Member

Gabe, a 2011 graduate of P.E.A.S.E, continued his education at Augsburg University as part of the Step-Up program. After graduating in 2015, he ventured to Michigan, where he assisted in establishing the first collegiate recovery program at Central Michigan University. Since returning to Minneapolis in 2018, Gabe has taken on various director roles within housing organizations. Currently, he has embraced a new challenge as an Estimator in the construction industry. Having found recovery at a young age, Gabe is passionate about making that opportunity accessible to others and believes in PEASE as one of the most effective ways to make that possible.
